Accessible Accommodations

Migis Lodge welcomes all guests, including guests with mobility, hearing, sight, learning, or other disabilities. We welcome feedback from guests of all abilities on how we can improve.

We offer accessible guest rooms and cottages designed for guests who utilize a wheelchair, require extra space, have limited mobility, or require hearing or visual assistance. Our common areas, including our public entrance, dining area, front desk, route from public entrance to accessible guest rooms, are mobility accessible (ramped entrance) and accessible guest room doorways provide 32” clearance. Our parking lot is removed from the lodge and we are happy to faciliate movement of individuals and belongings from our parking lot to your accessible accommodation by our stewards. We have a TTY available for guests upon request and televisions have closed captioning. Additionally, we provide luggage assistance, hearing-impaired alarms in the Main Lodge, and service animals are of course welcome.

    Lodge Room Traditional

    Perfect For Singles & Couples

    Located on the second floor of our Main Lodge, our Main Lodge Accessible room has mobility accessible features, cathedral ceiling, a king bed, corner gas fireplace, sitting area (including a pull-out couch in Room 7), flat screen TV, roomy balcony with wonderful lake views, private bath with vanity, roll in shower, and wet bar with undercounter refrigerator. There is room for a cot or pack ‘n play if needed. Lodge Room can be accessed by inside or outside staircases or by elevator.

      Moonrise

      2 bed 2 bath

      Moonrise has a covered porch with two rockers as well as two living spaces; a small sitting room with wet bar and undercounter refrigerator just inside the front door and a larger living room with cathedral ceiling, fieldstone fireplace, and flat screen TV. One step down is the first bedroom with queen bed and a small lakeview porch through a set of French doors. Just across the hall is a full bath with a shower/tub combination. Off the sitting room is the second bedroom which can be set up as a king bed or twin beds. The bathroom has a double vanity and shower. Moonrise has a ramped entrance and one of the bedrooms has an accessible bathroom. There are two queen size pullout couches, plus room for cots or pack ‘n plays.

        Southwind

        3 BED 2 BATH

        South Wind is adjacent to our Main Lodge. This accessible cottage has a covered front porch as well as an open front deck. The living room has a fieldstone fireplace, flat screen TV, and a wet bar with undercounter refrigerator. The first floor bedroom can be set up as a king bed or as twin beds, and has a small private balcony with lake view. The attached bathroom has accessible facilities including a roll-in shower with removable shower head. On the second floor are two additional bedrooms. The master has a king bed with handmade quilt, private covered furnished porch with lake views, and an en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combination and dual sinks. The additional bedroom has a queen bed and shares the bathroom with the first floor bedroom. There is a pullout couch in the living room and space for a cot or pack ‘n play. South Wind has a ramped front entrance.
