Update: You’ll never look better cruising Sebago Lake

The Tykona, our 1936 wooden Chris-Craft, is undergoing an extensive renovation, and the latest photos really start to show how fantastic she's going to look. 2009 03 25_8262
Rene and Mary Goulette at Shop to Shore Custom Woodworking are true experts of their craft and are converting our lake cruiser into quite a work of art.

The first picture shows the foredeck getting refinished and new caulking applied.  The roof was removed and the side wings replaced in order to repair the gunnel rails and cover for the transom.  2009 03 25_8257
While the entire hull of the boat was merely repainted (and not replaced), the interior of the boat has all been completely rebuilt, which will allow her passengers to travel in ultimate style and comfort.  As always, click on any photo to view a lager version.

We look forward to having the Tykona back in the water sometime in early May for use during our wedding season.  Our regular season begins Sunday, June 21st, 2009.  2009 03 25_8259
The weather is getting warmer, and all our excitement is building knowing that our new season is just around the corner.  We look forward to seeing you all soon.
