I just received these latest photos of the renovations being done to the green Herreshoff Buzzard's Bay-14 sailboat. Christian, one of the shipwrights working on the boat, is seen in this first picture steaming in a new frame along the starboard gunnel. Multiple planks will be replaced on the port side, however all the new deck beams have been put in place and the new decking will be laid across soon.

I was reminded recently that these two boats, one green and one white, have never been named. It was suggested that I ask for recommendations from our guests at the lodge, which I thought was a fabulous idea.
So, any ideas will be greatly appreciated, and the author(s) of the chosen names will receive a complimentary bottle of wine during their next visit to the lodge. Let's get creative!!
We are very grateful for the work being done by the folks at North Atlantic Shipbuilding & Repair, and we can't wait to have these wonderful boats back in Sebago's waters.
Happy St. Patty's Day weekend,
Jed
